Figment

Mon, 11 May 2026 16:44:37 -0600

Figment may look sleepy, but he’s actually full of the pure, limitless energy of imagination! And his favorite place to let that energy out is in the realm of dreams! Dreams can be a scary place at times, but when Figment turns up, he turns them into a place of whimsy, fun, and creativity! Figment is big and very soft; perfect for snuggling in bed, and large enough to be used as a pillow! One of my most memorable moments with Figment was when I was experiencing some night terrors. Figment was sleeping on my chest, and I instinctively grabbed him and gave him a squeeze. When I did, I heard the sound of him giggling in my mind, and the scary feelings went away! In that way, he’s a nighttime protector, not by being aggressive, but simply by sparking joy and mirth!

Simba

Tue, 12 May 2026 07:46:34 -0600

There was a time Simba thought all he wanted was to be king, but eventually he realized what he really wanted was a “pride” of his own, even if the members of that pride look very different than him. Simba loves to play and explore and is very energetic. He can be a bit of a troublemaker, but it’s never out of malice. He’s just full of rambunctious, playful energy! And at the times his games go too far, he’s quick to make ammends.

Bambi

Thu, 14 May 2026 11:26:22 -0600

Bambi used to feel most comfortable when he was with other deer from his herd and other forest friends. It took some time for him to open up, and he can still be skittish when meeting someone new. But once he’s gotten to know someone, his warmth and sincerity make him beloved by his friends. He can be sensitive, but also quick to forgive.

Bambi gets along well with his other plushie friends, but is closest with Simba. The two are virtually inseparable when they’re together! He felt a little bit jealous at first when Simba started spending time with Nala, but after getting acquainted, he found they have a lot in common, and now the three of them often play together. And he also loves his Auntie Twirl, who teaches him to dance and where to find the prettiest flowers.

Nala

Fri, 22 May 2026 08:03:59 -0600

Nala brought a spark of playful mischief into our plush family from the day she arrived! With a talent for stalking prey, she loves to sneak up on her friends and startle them! Sometimes it’s funny, but it isn’t always appreciated. Nala can be a bit stubborn and doesn’t like to be wrong. But when she sees that she’s upset someone, she eventually comes around and does the right thing.

Rascal

Tue, 19 May 2026 10:05:14 -0600

It’s tough catching bad guys every day, and after serving Adventure City, this brave pup was ready for a change. Old habits die hard though, and even after hanging up his badge, it was a challenge for Chase to allow himself (and his plush pals) to loosen up. After spending some time with his new family though, he learned to embrace his playful side, and even took the new name, Rascal, to reflect his desire to go easier on himself and others.

Twirl

Fri, 22 May 2026 08:16:01 -0600

The only thing that makes Twirl happier than dancing and singing is when she’s dancing and singing with friends! Having had a fulfilling ballet career, Twirl now finds fulfillment in passing on her skills to others. And to those who are less interested in dancing, she’s still great at encouraging them to pursue whatever makes them happy.

Of all the members of our plush family, Twirl is the most motherly. She’s quick to correct bad behavior and to comfort those who are sad. She’s skilled at resolving conflict and helping friends to see the good in each other.

Rocket

Fri, 22 May 2026 08:25:12 -0600

Rocket is a tiny fella who seems to have the energy of someone ten times his size! He almost never sits still, and getting him to be quiet can be a challenge! As a result, his friends can sometimes find him a bit annoying, and he doesn’t always understand why. But when somebody is sad, he does his best to cheer them up, and he often succeeds.

Ash

Fri, 29 May 2026 18:26:28 -0600

Ash is one member of the “Indie Duo,” though he calls himself the boss. He loves nothing more than being on top. If he ever feels like his dominance is being challenged, he will defend it ferociously… or simply throw a dino-sized tantrum. While Ash enjoys acting tough, he’s actually somewhat insecure, and has a habit of taking it out on others. But he can be nice on occasion. He needs a watchful eye when playing with the other plushies, but when his guard is down and the pressure is off, he can be an effective leader.

Smolder

Fri, 29 May 2026 19:32:17 -0600

Smolder considers himself to be the brains of the “Indie Duo.” He considers himself to be smarter than most, if not all of those he meets, and few things make him happier than proving someone wrong. And in the event he turns out to be wrong, he will rarely admit it. Smolder feels like in order to be respected, he has to outsmart others. He has a weakness for puzzles however. When confronted with a challenging riddle, he can get so engrossed in solving it he forgets to act superior, and might even work together with others to find the solution.

Leo

Thu, 04 Jun 2026 16:31:25 -0600

Leo is an artistic soul. He loves just about any type of art or craft you can imagine! While he excels the most at painting, he’s not shy about trying other art forms, and he enjoys the process regardless of how it turns out. Sometimes he gets so engrossed in what he’s working on that he doesn’t realize how much of a mess he’s making! (Although sometimes making a mess is part of the fun!)

Garnet

Thu, 02 Jul 2026 13:49:31 -0600

Garnet prides herself in being beautiful in both heart and scales. It’s just that sometimes she takes a little too much pride. She loves to polish her scales and horns until they shine, and she can spend hours trying on different jewels to see how they compliment her natural beauty. Underneath it all though, she has a heart of gold. (Fun fact, the fabric heart inside her is literally gold colored!) As delighted as she is to receive a new piece of jewelry, it makes her even happier to give gifts to her friends.

Roary

Thu, 09 Jul 2026 17:44:08 -0600

Roary is a very kind and giving friend, sometimes to the point where he feels guilty if he thinks he hasn’t given enough. Other times he gives so much that he comes close to burning out. He is often the first to give something up, the last to get in line, and the quickest to take the blame, even when he did nothing wrong. Fortunately he has good friends who encourage him to take care of himself and will step in to take care of him when he is on the path to wearing himself out.

Mufasa

Sat, 11 Jul 2026 14:51:25 -0600

Mufasa keeps a watchful eye over the younger plushies. He is often a silent, stoic presence, content to let them play their own games and resolve their own disputes; after all, one never learns if their problems are always solved by someone else. He will, however, step in if things begin to get heated or unsafe, and for serious infractions he’s been known to discipline the offending plush with a firm (but gentle) swat to the backside. He’s very caring however, and will always comfort the recipients of any punishment to ensure they know they are still loved.

Piccolo

Wed, 29 Jul 2026 16:55:31 -0600

Piccolo loves to be noisy! When he’s not singing a song he just made up, he’s loudly trumpeting his enthusiasm for the world. The quietest you’ll ever hear him is at a soft meandering humming (which he even does in his sleep!)

His incessant singing and trumpeting can sometimes get on his friends’ nerves, and he does his best to be polite. Often the best thing for him to do in these situations is to find a place where he can let out his loud songs without disturbing anybody. But during these times, there’s often one or more of his plushie pals who will accompany him so he doesn’t have to sing alone!

Shiver

Fri, 07 Aug 2026 16:37:19 -0600

Shiver is full of nervous energy. It’s very difficult for him to sit still. The one thing that makes it easier is when he’s receiving a firm, tight hug. Nothing calms him quite like feeling his heart beat against the one holding him, and feeling their heartbeat in return.

Shiver is also an excellent listener. The trouble is, sometimes it seems like he isn’t paying attention, because he’s always pacing, fidgeting, or digging. But while it may look to his other plushie friends like he’s preoccupied with other things, they are often surprised to find that he didn’t miss a word. In fact, his keen ears sometimes pick up conversations he wasn’t meant to hear, which can make planning a surprise for him especially tricky!

Nala's Birthmark

Fri, 16 Oct 2026 09:00:00 -0600

Nala’s birthmark after having her tag removed. She wasn’t scared! (Well, maybe a tiny bit. Don’t tell Simba!)

Simba's Birthmark

Thu, 15 Oct 2026 09:00:00 -0600

A “birthmark” on a plushie is the remnants of the tag, once removed. Simba was a very good boy and held very still. You can barely see it!

Simba and Nala's Tag Day

Fri, 09 Oct 2026 18:04:18 -0600

Simba and Nala are old enough by now that it’s time to have their tags removed. You know the first time you lose a baby tooth as a kid? It’s kind of like that for a young plush. Exciting and a sign that you’re growing up, but also a little bit scary. Fortunately, they had each other nearby to comfort one another! 🫂✂️

He doesn’t want to leave, even though Denfur is over…

Don't Look!

Sun, 30 Aug 2026 18:10:00 -0600

Oh dear! Some of the items at the Denfur charity auction aren’t meant for little lion cub eyes! They kept them appropriately covered and limited to adult bidders. Still, gotta keep the little guy as innocent as possible! 😂

Sad to Leave

Sun, 30 Aug 2026 15:16:00 -0600

He can’t believe Denfur is almost over… 🥲 We’ve had such a great time!

Mon, 25 May 2026 10:54:00 -0600

Be careful where you’re waving those tail feathers, Rocket! Someone might give you a tiny swat! 👌

Rocket Perch

Sat, 23 May 2026 09:31:00 -0600

Rocket likes to perch on my finger, he just doesn’t stay there for very long! You have no idea how long it took me to get him to hold still long enough for me to take this photo! 😂

Nala's Dress

Fri, 22 May 2026 11:07:19 -0600

We found a dress for Nala that fits her quite well and goes great with her fur color! She looks pretty happy with it too!

Baby-sitting!

Fri, 22 May 2026 07:30:00 -0600

Simba and Nala

Thu, 21 May 2026 10:52:00 -0600

Simba says he was just happy our plush family got a new playmate, but Nala really seemed to have caught his eye! 😳 Does somebody hear music…?

📷 Figment's Shorts

Sat, 16 May 2026 09:19:00 -0600

A few of the clothing items I got for my plushies could use some modifications. Figment’s pants for example! 🤭 Gonna need to cut a few tail slits!

Figment's Outfit

Fri, 15 May 2026 13:48:37 -0600

Even Figgy got a new shirt and pair of shorts! He looks like he’s ready for some fun in the sun! (Or at least a nap in the sun, hehe!)

Bambi's Dress

Fri, 15 May 2026 13:03:00 -0600

During dress-up, I offered Bambi several options, but what he really wanted to try on was this pretty pink dress. I told him that’s okay! Boys can wear dresses too. He was very happy, and he looks super cute! 🥰

Simba's New Outfit

Fri, 15 May 2026 09:54:00 -0600

During our dress-up stream last night, Simba was so excited he got a shirt with himself on it! 😄 It’s hard to see in the photo, but the shirt says, “Just a little bit wild!” And that fits him to a tee!

A Mother on Earth

Mon, 06 Apr 2026 00:00:00 -0600

1

The grass felt soft beneath Eli’s paws. There was a pathway made of dirt and rocks next to him, but he preferred the grass, which felt so much nicer and smelled so much sweeter, fresh and verdant with the hint of wildflowers. He could hear birds singing from the trees, and the occasional insect buzzed past his ear. Eli wasn’t sure yet where he was going. He only knew he needed to see more of his new home.

Welcome to Eli's Cozy Corner!

Fri, 03 Apr 2026 00:00:00 +0000

Dragon from the Stars

Tue, 06 Jan 2026 00:00:00 +0000

1

Once upon a time, there was a baby dragon who lived on a silvery comet of ice that flew among the stars. He lived there with his mother. And even though their comet was small, and even though the only things the baby dragon had were his paci, his bottle, his diaper, and his blankie, he was happy. Every day he would gaze up into the sky with wonder, and every night he would snuggle up next to his mother, safe and warm.
